Sark Strolls
by Jan Guy & Sue Daly
Sark, that very special Channel Island, is only three miles long and one and a half miles wide yet it has more than forty miles of coastline as well as secret valleys and woodlands, and wild, dramatic cliffs.
Much of Sark is best explored on foot and this book offers eleven routes for walks which can be enjoyed, either individually or linked together, by visitors who come just for the day or by those who fall in love with the island and stay for longer. The book is called Sark Strolls to suggest a gentle pace allowing time to take in the views, enjoy the flora and fauna and perhaps learn a little more from the additional information that is given about each route. The island should not be explored in haste: amble leisurely, take a picnic, perhaps have a swim and enjoy your walk at Sark pace.
76 full colour pages beautifully illustrated with photographs & detailed maps of each walk. Available at various island outlets or order online. £9.95 plus postage.
